Science and Leadership in Medicine Program

  • Our SLiM program is a 6-week vertical mentoring and immersion program that exposes high school and college students to URM physicians and scientists from a variety of fields in order to gain a deeper understanding of the day-to-day duties required of a doctor.
  • In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in "hands-on" activities, including CPR, intubation, surgical knot-tying, robotic surgery simulation using the Da Vinci surgical system.
  • Apply as a Mentor or Mentee via our "Join" page between December to early February.
